Genome Technology Branch
The Genome Technology Branch develops and implements technologies for performing genome analysis. Investigators in the branch study the structure and function of genomes in normal and disease states, and have expertise in a wide range of genomic techniques, including mapping and sequencing of mammalian chromosomes, gene isolation, systematic mutagenesis, developmental genomics, and computational analysis of DNA and protein sequences. In addition, the branch houses core units that provide genome analysis services to National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) investigators.
